On the afternoon of October 12, Kyle Optics Founder Lu Ji and her team visited the School of Transportation and Logistics Engineering at Wuhan University of Technology, meeting with Dean Yuan Chengqing, Party Secretary Xiao Yaogen, Vice Deans Ouyang Wu and Feng Guizhen, and department heads.
Dean Yuan Chengqing introduced the school's disciplines, faculty, talent programs, and research platforms, while Party Secretary Xiao Yaogen emphasized project-driven industry-academia-research integration.
Lu Ji stated that both sides will pursue deep cooperation in joint research projects, technology transfer, and graduate recruitment, while COO Yuan Zhilin presented Kyle Optics' core technologies and product applications.
Both sides also held in-depth discussions on LiDAR applications in smart ports and transportation, including bulk cargo handling, breakbulk inventory, vessel berthing, anti-collision, equipment O&M, and road foreign object detection.
